MAN DOO GOOK (Dumpling Soup)


Man Doo Gook

(Dumpling Soup)

Today, we make Man Doo Gook. Man Doo Gook is a variety of Korean soup (Gook) made by boiling Man Doo (Dumpling). This is one of my favorites.


Ingredients: Dumpling, Green pumpkin, Onion, Mushroom, Egg. (All ingredients that I post can be bought at any Korean markets in Hawaii)


How to make?


1. Put mushroom into water.
















2. After boiling it, put green pumpkin, onion and seasoning.

















3. After few minutes, put man doo (dumpling) in it.


















4. After 20-30 minutes, put egg.

















5. After few minutes, enjoy it!

KIMCHI BOKKEUMBAP (Kimchi Fried Rice)

Today, we make Kimchi Bokkeumbap. It is very common and famous dish in Korea. Because of its easiness, many Korean men enjoy it.


Ingredients: Kimchi, Spam, Rice, Egg. (All ingredients that I post can be bought at any Korean markets in Hawaii)


How to make?



1. Cut Kimchi.

















2. Fry Kimchi and Spam.



















3. Put rice in it.


















4. Put egg on the top and Enjoy!

BACON ENOKI MUSHROOM SKEWER

Today, we make Bacon Enoki mushroom Skewer. My girlfriend created this food. It is easy to make and easy to eat but it is not Korean food.


Ingredients: Bacon, Enoki mushroom, Toothpick. (All ingredients that I post can be bought at any Korean markets in Hawaii)


How to make?


1. Prepare bacon, Enoki mushroom and toothpick.






















2. Cut enoki mushroom.


















3. Wash the enoki mushroom.






















4. Grab a few enoki mushrooms.






















5. Wrap it up with bacon.






















6. Stick a toothpick into bacon.


















7. Grill them.






















8. Enjoy!!

DOENJANG GOOK (Soybean Paste Soup)

(Soybean Paste Soup)

Today, we make Doenjang Jjigae. It is a variety of stew-like Korean traditional dish, made with doenjang (soybean paste). It is a very healthy food.



Ingredients: anchovy, crushed garlic, enoki mushroom, young pumpkin, spinach, soybean paste. (All ingredients that I post can be bought at any Korean markets in Hawaii)


How to make?


1. Put anchovy and crushed garlic into water.
























2. After boiling water, put soybean paste, enoki mushroom, spinach, young pumpkin.



























3. After boiling 5-10 minutes, enjoy it!

GOCHUJANG SAMGYEOPSAL

(Red pepper paste Pork belly)

Today, we make Gochujang Samgyeopsal. It is another type of pork belly dishes. Korean people love pork belly especially when they drink.



Ingredients: Pork belly, red pepper paste(Gochujang), soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seed. (All ingredients that I post can be bought at any Korean markets in Hawaii)


How to make?

1. Cut pork belly into bite-size pieces.



















2. Put red pepper paste(Gochujang), soy sauce, sesame oil and sesame seed into the bowl.




















3. Mix together.














4. Grill the seasoned pork belly.























5. Enjoy with lettuce to wrap the meat.

GYE RAN JJIM (Steamed egg)



GYE RAN JJIM

(Steamed egg)

Today, we make Gye Ran Jjim. It is another type of egg dishes. We always make either fried egg or boiled egg. Try something new!



Ingredients: Egg, water, black pepper, salt. (All ingredients that I post can be bought at any Korean markets in Hawaii)


How to make?

1. Put two or three eggs into a bowl and beat the eggs with a spoon.
(We put paprika because she likes it. You can put whatever you want.)



























2. Pour water into the bowl.















3. Sprinkle black pepper and salt.
















4. Mix together.
















5. Cover surface with plastic wrap and pierce in several places with a fork.

















6. Microwave it for 4 minutes.














7. Enjoy!!
